A Message from Design Filtration Microzone on COVID-19

The health, safety and well-being of our team members, clients and suppliers is of paramount importance to Design Filtration Microzone (DFMZ). As COVID-19 continues to impact our community, we want to take this opportunity to update you on what we’re doing to minimize the risk to you, our team and our supply chain.

Keeping DFMZ Safe

We’ve always taken pride in our clean and well-run operations at DFMZ, and we know this is more important than ever right now. On top of our daily cleaning procedures, we are asking our employees to be more diligent with their own personal hygiene and their responses to any flu like symptoms. We’re following guidance from the Canadian Public Health authorities. Informational signs are displayed in every restroom and throughout the space reminding team members of best practices to promote health and prevent the spread of infection.

Continuity of Supply

Our team is continuing to monitor our supply chain partners for any constraints or delays in the continuity of supply. To date issues of continuity of supply have been very minimal. We continue to monitor and encourage our suppliers to be open and transparent with dialogue on supply constraints they might experience that could impact DFMZ. We believe this open communication is critical to navigating the next several weeks.

Prioritizing COVID-19 Research

As a manufacturer of lab equipment, we understand the urgency and increased demand for our products as a result of COVID-19. Research facilities are working around the clock to develop rapid testing and vaccines for COVID-19 so we at DFMZ are equally committed to servicing these clients to enable these advancements. At this time, we are prioritizing demand for products in this area. Please contact sales@dfmzgroup.com with any urgent requests and we will ensure we expedite where possible.

Supporting our People

Without our amazing team, we wouldn’t be able to serve our clients so their health is our top priority. We’re provided team members with up-to-the-moment guidance and information so they can keep themselves and their families safe. We’re encouraging team members to stay home if sick and have postponed all non-essential work travel. The decision to postpone non-essential work travel is the right thing to do to keep our community safe and healthy.

Thank you for your support and understanding during a rapidly evolving situation as we make every effort to support our clients, suppliers and team members. If there’s anything we can do or any question we can answer, please contact us at info@dfmzgroup.com

One Team, One Goal.
