About

Our NXT Dual HEPA Extraction Hood provides the highest level of operator and environment protection from harmful contaminates, while weighting non-sterile powders and compounds. Quality materials, components and workmanship can be found in this fully loaded NXT series hood. With the addition of the secondary HEPA Filter, it now becomes USP-800 compliant for hazardous drugs intended for non-sterile compounding.

Key Features

  • Operator Protection: The airflow is directed away from the operator, into the hood to be filtered. Both the NXT-330 and 430 models have been successfully ASHRAE 110 tested with excellent results.
  • Particulate Filtration: The Compounding Extraction Hood filters the air through a HEPA Filter rated at 99.999% with the primary filter located at the entry point of the cabinet, allowing all mechanical and electrical components to be protected. The secondary HEPA Filter is located at the top of the hood. This allows for the filter to be scan tested.
  • Independent Operation: Internal fan(s) direct the air without the need for being ducted to the building system. The double filtered air is vented back into the room, saving otherwise wasted energy.
  • Sturdy Construction: Constructed from cold-rolled steel with anti-bacterial powered coating, Interior 304 stainless steel with coved corners, two layers of laminated, toughened, anti-UV glass, and an electroplated work surface.

Optional Features

  • 36” standing height base frame
  • 230V, 50HZ power configuration
  • Stainless steel IV bar and hangers
  • Stainless steel side panels
  • Transition adaptor canopy

Types of Applications
